Mount Carmel Academy is a private, independent school for children in grades K-12. We hold that Faith is necessary for salvation and essential for the acquisition of knowledge. Uniquely, the academy will strive to help parents, the primary educators, to prepare their children in the framework of a classical education. We further hold that classical education is best suited to reinforcing Faith and reason. Mount Carmel Academy teaches unchanging Catholic Truth and respect for Church authority. The school will present Catholic Doctrine and the fullness of Catholic Truth as contained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and other authoritative Church documents. Students will be offered the Catholic "world view", and will be taught Catholic morality in an environment that encourages the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity. Administrators, Board members, and Faculty are all Catholics, loyal to the Church’s teachings and the mission of Mount Carmel Academy. |
